SoT Season Pass

The Sea of Thieves Season Pass is the seasonal Renown progression track built into every title update. Each Season contains 50 levels earned through gameplay — sailing, combat, exploration, and Trials. Once the season ends after approximately 13 weeks, progress and unclaimed rewards reset.

All rewards are free for every player; no premium purchase is required to progress. Sea of Thieves Season Pass Boost on Overgear handles the full Season progression until the target level is reached, securing any level from 1 to 50 before the Season ends.

The Season Pass: Premium Tier is an optional upgrade purchasable for 999 Ancient Coins from the Pirate Emporium. It layers an additional reward track on top of the regular Season Pass, granting the full Sirens' Splendour ship set piece by piece across all 50 levels, plus 1,000 Ancient Coins distributed throughout. Buying it mid-season immediately grants cosmetics for all previously completed levels. Sea of Thieves Season Pass Boost on Overgear secures all Premium Tier rewards at your target level before the Season ends.

An active Sea of Thieves account is the only requirement for the free Season Pass track. For Premium Tier rewards, the Season Pass: Premium Tier must be purchased separately (999 Ancient Coins via Pirate Emporium) before or during the order. Sea of Thieves Season Pass Boosting on Overgear covers Renown progression on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

Season 20 Premium Tier rewards include the full Sirens' Splendour ship set — Flag, Captain, Wheel, Hull, Cannons, Figurehead, Sails, Cannon Flare, Collector's Figurehead, and Collector's Sails — unlocked progressively across all 10 tiers. Premium Tier holders also receive 1,000 Ancient Coins distributed across the Season. Both the free and Premium tracks progress through the same Renown track simultaneously. Sea of Thieves Season Pass Carry on Overgear handles both tracks in a single order.

Renown is earned from virtually any activity in Sea of Thieves — selling loot, sailing, combat, and exploration, with Adventures and Trials providing larger Renown boosts regardless of playstyle. There are 50 levels per Season, reset when the next Season starts.

Sea of Thieves Season Pass Carry on Overgear completes the full Season progression in a single session, securing your target level and all accumulated rewards before the season resets.
